Time management

After a lengthy wait, I finally secured my first job here during the first semester, so I made the decision to arrive early to get started. Since I've been doing them for a few days, my manager has been watching me, so he approached me and expressed his gratitude. Even though I had done something as simple as being on time, my manager later suggested that I look for another job in accounting.

Team Player, conflict resolver

while I oversaw my group at Facilities Management. One of my teammates had a disagreement and seemed unwilling to cooperate. Since we need to work in pairs, I thought that rather than having them both work together, I could work with one and another with other people. More significantly, though, I chatted with each of them separately so that they could share their stories. Even though we can't immediately get things established, things ultimately got back to normal.

Taking initiative

During my mission, I am working with a companion who is not fluent in the local language. I must thus ensure that we are completing our tasks. We had a recommendation one day, so I contacted, chatted with, and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, we went to see the individual, talked to him, and gave him a lesson. Several weeks later, we were both instructing the same investigator. He accepted the invitation to be baptized, which my friend and I felt was necessary.
